Veterans Village of San Diego Clothing and Toiletries Drive

This year was another successful year gathering lightly-used clothing and toiletries for our friends over at the Veterans Village of San Diego. Thank you to all who contributed to the cause either individually or as part of your department. Our VVSD friends are greatly appreciative!

Lynn Burgess, VVSD Clothing Coordinator, and VVSD staff stand next to a box that holds the donations from UC San Diego. The VSA would like to thank those who dropped off items at the staff breakfast on main campus and the following departments: Geisel Library, Scripps Administration, EH&S, Enrollment Management, and Capital Program Management.

Darren Cannone, EHS, and Joanna Boval, VSA Chair, filled Larry Darwent’s (VSA Co-chair) truck with donations.
