ABOUT US

The results are in! Please join me in welcoming this year's UCSD Veterans Staff Association Board Members. Please feel free to reach out to any one of our board members to ask a question or bring up an idea that will benefit our veteran community. If you are not a member and would like to be, please note that you need not be a veteran to join or become a board member. Membership forms are located here. We look forward to seeing you at any of our events. “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” –Helen Keller

I served in the United States Marine Corps for 7 years before starting my 30 plus year career as a police officer with both the San Diego Police and currently the University of California Police Department.  I look forward to serving the military veteran community at UCSD.

James Seddon – Treasurer | (858) 822-4040 | jseddon@ucsd.edu

I’m an IT manager at UC San Diego, aspiring writer, retired Sailor, husband, father, and regularly unsuccessful fisherman living in suburban San Diego.  In the Navy, I served 21 years as a surface warfare officer in active and reserve billets, afloat and ashore, with multiple deployments throughout Asia and the Middle East, and retired out of the reserves in 2015.  Supporting and helping veterans of all eras helps me keep a sense of mission.
